Stop Chasing The Quick-Fix Information Trap

We often hear about finding “the root cause.” I’m here to tell you there is no such thing as “one root cause.”

I blame influencer marketing and Dr. Google for this. They claim to have the answers to all our health problems, yet few people get well from their guidance. In fact, most of the time, I see people getting worse from their guidance because they keep falling down the rabbit hole of information overload that may or may not apply to them.

This process is terribly draining on your pocketbook, as well as your physical and emotional health. Not to mention what can happen if a diet or supplement is not appropriate for your chemistry.

Paleo, AIP, low FODMAP, plant-based, low histamine, low oxalate, SCD, and many more diets are all great options, but none of them can truly heal the root causes of your suffering because there are a wide variety of factors underlying your symptoms that no single pill or protocol could ever address.

The three roots are your genes, digestion, and inflammation. Your branches can be any sign, symptom, or diagnosis. There are literally thousands of branches that all lead back to the three roots.

You were born with a unique blueprint. This blueprint consists of genetic, epigenetic, and transgenerational narratives. In other words, there is no one else like you on the planet with your exact DNA, physiology, traits, and triggers that make up your unique story. Even if you are an identical twin, because of epigenetics, you are still different from your twin.

I specialize in looking at all these factors to create a customized, targeted, and therapeutic approach to your healing, and because I know what it feels like to suffer, I’ll be holding your hand every step of the way with empathy and grace.

Everything is connected, we are all unique, and all things matter. My scope of practice is in looking at the root causes of your pain and suffering through nutrition and lifestyle medicine, which includes assessment and tracking, to gain insight into what’s really going on inside your body.
