One on One Nutritional Therapy
What is your payment policy?
Payment is due before your first consultation. I accept check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. Labs are invoiced after your initial consultation and nutrient orders after your protocol is completed.
I work in three and six-month increments. Nutrient therapy uses therapeutic dosages to penetrate the nucleus of the cell so real change and deeper healing can occur. Please know true healing takes time and that diet and lifestyle changes are important components to individualized nutrients because they all work in synergy with one another.
Do you take insurance?
Like many functional medicine clinics, my services are an out-of-pocket expense, which allows me to provide you with the best nutrition and lifestyle care available and does not limit your care to what is covered by health insurance policies.
I am set up to accept HSA/FSA cards but since every insurance company has its own policies, I cannot guarantee their coverage.
Additionally, you may be able to work with your insurance company for a percentage coverage by submitting your service receipt.
Are labs included?
For six-month programs, you receive $50 off your first lab order. Our initial consultation will help me determine labs that are of immediate need, and those we can hold off on until a later date.
After your initial consultation, you will be invoiced via email for your lab order. After payment is received, our lab will email your requisition forms within three business days for your blood draw. Urine, Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis and other kits are mailed via USPS. Full instructions are included. Please refrain from supplements two days prior and chose a morning appointment with the lab in a fasted state.
A special note for clients in New York: our lab cannot physically ship test kits or process lab orders in New York due to legislative laws. However, test kits may be sent to a surrounding state address. Kits must also be sent back from the surrounding state. Blood draws must also be performed in a surrounding state.
New Jersey clients: we can ship kits to you, but due to New Jersey legislative laws, all blood draws must be performed in a surrounding state (not including New York).
If you live in a country where our lab is unable to process specimens, or it is too cost-prohibitive, I won't be able to help you unless you plan to travel to the United States for testing.
Are supplements included?
For six-month programs, you receive 20% off your first supplement order.
I can order supplements for you after your initial healing plan has been created (only if you live in the US). Please know you are under no obligation to buy supplements from me. Keep in mind I only work with nutraceuticals that are of the highest efficacy and purity standards and I do not recommend buying supplements from Amazon. We ship 2-day air. Orders received by noon are shipped the same day.
How are sessions conducted?
I run a virtual clinic located in North Carolina, United States, Eastern Time. If you live outside of the United States and Canada, we will connect via Skype. If you live in the United States or Canada, we will connect via phone.
What is your email policy?
Reasonable email support is included with all packages and response times are within 48 hours (weekdays). Most of the time I respond the same day. Large volume emails are best discussed during session time.
Stand alone sessions that are not part of a package do not include email support or protocol revisions.
What is your cancellation policy?
I really value our time together. If you are running late, please email us and I will do my best to hold your session. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so 48 hours in advance. For missed appointments, your session will be deducted from your program.
What are your business hours?
We are open from 9am to 4pm, Eastern Time, USA, Monday through Friday.
